Downed Chopper. This was a Gunship UH-1C for "C" Troop, 1st of the 9th Cavalry. It was downed by small arms fire on January 2, 1968, near An Tinh / An Lac.
Marine LTC Richard Lee Hatch died of wounds from the crash the next day. He was listed as a "non-crew passenger" on the 1/9th Huey Gunship.
