Frankie Accardo was an original member of "C" Company and travelled to Vietnam aboard the USS Pope.
He was wounded and evacuated to Qui Nhon, Japan & the U.S. in October of 1967...one of the first wounded in Charlie Company.
He reached the rank of Specialist, E4.
