My brother John (Shorty as we called him) was killed 39 years ago today. Not only was he my brother but he was one of my best friends. I think about him almost every day. I was so excited when I received the letter about the "Wreath Ceremony". I called my husband and told him I was going. I know it will be an emotionally journey, but it will be an amazing journey to meet some of you who served with him and fought so hard for my freedom. I appreciated what you did and are still doing. Thank you so much for inviting my family. It means the world to me to be a part of such a wonderful event.

I love your post ! I try so hard to tell the guys that want to call the families but just can't do it ... not because they can't they just don't know what to expect on the other end of the phone. I have been doing this for ten years now... and the families are waiting for that phone call believe me when I tell you this they ARE ! I was helping a guy in Florida who wanted to find his buddy who was killed family. So I went to work and found his brother I emailed John all the info and he emailed me back and said "I can't do it" I just can't... I totally understand... I emailed him back and told him just what I said above... the family wants to be contacted they too have unanswered questions as they were not told to much by the government... Well John called the brother and they talked for hours with tears ... and the irony of it all was it was the anniversary of his brothers death .. John could not thank me enough for telling him to just do it.... We will never let these men and women who lost their lives in Vietnam ever be forgotten... they have all touched my life so much and I never even knew them but I know of them... John Moody lives on in all the lives he touched mine included...

lots of love,
Barbara Anne
