I was searching for pictures of LZ Uplift today and came across the 1st Bn 50th Infantry site. I was with B Co, 8th Engineer Bn, First Cavalry Division at LZ Uplift during 1967/ The 8th Engineers helped build LZ Ichiban during the late summer of 1967. I remember when the 1st of the 50th arrived in September '67 (I think). I have several pictures from around the Uplift area. Hopefully you find it ok that I joined the forum since my only Vietnam experience was with the Cavalry.
