Unprecedented Texas Cold

Postby pt9243 » Fri Feb 19, 2021 2:58 pm

I want to thank those members for reaching out to me during this incredibly difficult time not just in the Houston area but in much of the state. Thousands upon thousands of Texas citizens have had to endure unbearable hardships not just due to the cold but also loss power and water. The death toll continues to climb but won't known of it's totality for weeks to come. At present most of the state's power has been restored but water issues have become serious. My home in League City has pretty much returned to normal. Unfortunately my 93 year old mother in law in Galveston was very close to hypothermia. Fortunately we were able to get her to our home once the roads were cleared of ice. She is now in the hospital and is making a miraculous recovery. I'm ready for some miserable Texas heat.
