Accreditation as a VA Claims Agent

Postby bbontemps » Wed Aug 02, 2017 10:51 am

Has anyone trained and taken the test to become a VA accredited claims agent? I recently worked with a local agent to help the spouse of a Vietnam Vet who died 12 years ago with heart problems attributed to agent orange. When approved, she will start receiving around $1,250 a month, tax free. I feel there are too many widows out there who do not know about benefits that are due them, so I'm wanting to get my accreditation.

If any of you have been accredited, please let me know.

Thanks, Bill

Don't have a clue how to go about the accredation thing but i'll certainly applaud your efforts. Great to see folks out there willing to help those who can't. Kudos!!
